We apologize for the inconvenience, but through the end of 2018 The Copper Bear will not be accepting any new clients with cat care. As of December 1, 2016, we will only be offering limited services in Oxford. The Copper Bear has moved to Batesville and will only be doing visits in Oxford on case by case situations. The cost will be slightly increased based on the distance from my home. Full services are offered within the city of Batesville. I love animals of all sorts, and I pet sit for cats and dogs. I grew up with both cats and dogs and as an adult I adopted 2 large dogs who are both 11 years old now. They are treated as my children and are definitely spoiled, but mainly they are loved and well cared for. I have taken care of the pets of my family and friends and would love to take care of your fur baby too. The Copper Bear is a team of two, and we have been paid pet sitters on Rover since March 2015, but have cared for pets our entire lives. Why I love dog sitting: I've been a dog lover my entire life. My family always had dogs and cats, but they weren't just dogs and cats they were members of our family. When I moved to Oxford to go to Ole Miss in 2005 I missed having animals surrounding me. So when I moved into my own apartment in 2007 I adopted Bear from the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society. She was around 10 weeks old. In 2008 after I had moved into my house I had room for a sister for Bear, and I then adopted Copper from the Tupelo Lee Humane Society. Copper was a year old. Now both of my girls are 11 years old and still are young at heart.
