Pet care experience
Animals are my career! I am a veterinary technician with over 10 fur babies at home. I know how hard it can be to find someone trust worthy and safe to look after my pets while being away from home. Not only do I have medical experience and emergency first aid, but I will treat your pets with the love and respect I give to my own pets.

She has been spot on with my dogs care and walks and is excellent at communicating with us. My dogs love her and I’m glad I picked her to be our dog walker.
Communication from the start was excellent with Mackenzie. She understood our needs with our elderly cat, young dog and bunny. Her extensive experience with all kinds of animals as well as her veterinary background left us confident to have her be responsible for our animals while we were away. We have a pet camera so we were able to see Mackenzie interact with our animals and they were instantly comfortable with her. I highly recommend Mackenzie and would definitely use her again!
Mackenzie has been watching my family’s animals for years, she truly treats them as her own! She loves any creature she comes across, and will do whatever is necessary to make them feel like everything is normal in their home if you’re away. Not only is she loving and caring, but she pays attention to detail and does a great job at confirming the instructions given to her prior to you leaving. In addition to this, she also has an immense knowledge for all things animals! She has wildlife rehabilitation experience, reptile and amphibian experience, and she has many years experience as a veterinary technician. You can rest easy with your fur babies in her care!

As someone who has 10 fur babies at home, I know the struggle of trying to find someone I can trust, and who will do what I need for my pets while I’m gone. I will ensure your pet not only has a good time during our play dates/ drop-ins, but I will ensure they are well fed, waters changed, walked, played, litter box changed, etc. to the standards that I would want in my own home. Communication and updates are one of the things that are most important to me.

A typical day
I’ll be just like your dogs auntie! Ya know, the one that comes in, hypes them up, plays with all their favorite toys, gives them their favorite treats, etc. maybe they’re all about the cuddles - we can do that too! Anything that you feel will be beneficial for your pet while you’re away, I’m happy to accommodate.

Availability
I currently work from home as a telehealth technician, so my days are flexible, with the exception of Sunday, I am open to Sunday drop-ins if you are away on an extended period. We can always discuss what you need, and I’ll do my best to see if I can alter my schedule.
