Hello, My name is Mackenzie and I live in Rochester, NY. I am 24 years old and have many years experience working with pets of all types. I have been the primary care provider for a dog for the past 10 years, and adopted my own dog last year when I moved into my own apartment. I have several years of experience working with both dogs and cats in a professional setting as well. I have been a veterinary assistant and kennel attendant for several years and have spent countless hours working with animals of all temperaments, personalities, breeds, and ages. I am also very experienced working with pets that have special needs (i.e. medications, separation anxiety, special diets, etc.). In my spare time, I spend time with my own pets and I also spend time with my horse. My horse is an ex-racehorse from the Finger Lakes Racetrack and he lives at a boarding facility in Rochester. I currently live in an apartment so I am unable to provide care for your pets in my home, but I am moving into my new house very soon and I will be opening up the opportunity for boarding and day care as soon as I am settled. I am very conscious of your needs and concerns, and would love to meet you and have the opportunity to work together. I am currently working from home most of the time, so I am regularly available throughout the week and on weekends to care for your pets. I love to take dogs on walks, play with pets in the home or in the yard, and am available to take them outside for potty breaks, feed them, and accommodate any needs they may have.
