I work from home Monday - Friday, so I have lot's of flexibility in my schedule and am capable of providing your pup with the proper care and attention necessary to keep them happy, healthy and safe. For walking - a schedule would need to be identified 1-2 day's prior based on any of my full time work conflicts.

Safety First: Your dog’s safety is always my top priority. In my home, dogs are welcomed into a dog-friendly space where they’re supervised, loved, and cared for like my own. Walks are always on-leash, and I stick to safe, familiar routes. I’m experienced with harnesses, crates, and following each dog’s unique routine to keep them comfortable and happy. You can trust that your pup will be safe, loved, and in good hands with me. When dogs stay with us, they’ll enjoy a safe, welcoming environment filled with love and playtime. We have a fully fenced-in yard that gives pups plenty of space to run around and get their energy out safely. Our 6-year-old lab mix is a friendly, well-socialized dog who loves having new friends over — she’s gentle, playful, and always excited to meet other pups. Whether it’s a game of chase in the yard, a cozy nap inside, or just companionship, your dog will never feel lonely here. We keep a close eye on all interactions to make sure every dog feels comfortable and happy, and we can separate dogs for meals or downtime if needed. Between my husband and I both being home, and our pup ready to welcome new buddies, your dog will have both safety and companionship throughout their stay.

Information Mackenzie C. would like to know about your pet
Social Preferences: Does your dog get along with other dogs, cats, or children? If we encounter them on a walk (or if your pup is boarding and spending time with my own friendly lab mix), it’s helpful to know their comfort level so we can plan accordingly. Behavioral History: Has your dog ever shown signs of aggression, snapping, or biting? No judgment — I just need to understand any triggers or past incidents so I can keep everyone safe and comfortable. Special Needs & Feeding: Does your dog have a specific feeding schedule, use a slow feeder, graze throughout the day, or require medication with meals? I’m happy to follow their exact routine. Boarding Experience: Has your pup stayed in another home before? Do they usually adjust quickly to new environments, or do they need a little extra time and patience? This helps me set them up for success when they’re with us. Comfort Around Strangers: Is your dog shy or nervous when meeting new people, or do they warm up right away? I’ll adjust my approach to make them feel safe and secure.
A typical day
I work from home Monday through Friday, starting around 8 a.m. and finishing at 5 p.m. Because of this, I’m home all day to give plenty of attention, love, and care to the dogs in my home. I build in several breaks throughout the day to take dogs outside for walks, playtime in the yard, and regular bathroom and feeding schedules. If I’m walking your dog at your home, we’ll coordinate the best times for their walks a day or two in advance based on my work meetings — but I have a lot of flexibility, so we’ll always make it work for your pup’s needs. In the evenings, when my husband gets home around 5:30 p.m., we love to enjoy more outdoor time. If your dog is boarding with us, we’ll go for an evening walk, spend time playing in the yard, and make sure dinner is served right on schedule. Nights usually end with everyone fed, happy, and snuggled up on the couch while we wind down with a movie. Your dog will feel like part of the family, from morning walks to evening cuddles.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I’m a lifelong dog lover (28 years old) and proud dog mom to a sweet 6-year-old lab mix. My husband and I share our lives (and our couch!) with our pup, and we both absolutely adore dogs. I’ve owned dogs my entire life, and they truly bring me more joy than anything else. Caring for pups isn’t just something I do — it’s a part of who I am. Because I work full-time remotely, I have the flexibility to welcome dogs into our home or help with walks and drop-in visits during the day. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, or just someone to keep them company while you’re away, we’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for like part of our own family. Your pup’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every dog with the same love and attention I give my own. You can rest easy knowing your furry friend is in good hands. ✨ A little extra about me: My husband and I are both experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Happy to send updates, photos, and videos so you always know how your pup is doing. Our home is dog-friendly, with plenty of space for cuddles, playtime, and naps. We understand how important consistency is, so we’ll follow your pup’s routines, rules, and training style. We’d love the chance to meet you and your pup — whether it’s for a walk, drop-in, or an overnight stay. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We can’t wait to care for your best friend! 🐾
Reviews
Mackenzie is outstanding!!!! She is warm and personable in person and gave Virgo the best of care. From the photos she sent, I saw that Virgo was having an especially good time. Mackenzie stayed in touch with questions and things I should know and sent delightful photos and videos. She has a warm, generous spirit, as well as being very practical and communicative.
Mackenzie is amazing with my pup!! This was our second time with her and we'll be sure to continue using her services. My pup is happy and tired when he comes back, all thanks to the love he gets with Mackenzie and Eric!
Mackenzie & her husband took great care of my puppy. We had a meet and greet and I could tell Pup loved meeting them and running around in their backyard. The day I dropped him for daycare, he was ecstatic to see them again. I got plenty of pics and updates and Pup enjoyed his time with them so much so that he was dreaming about it all night! Thank you both for being so humble and loving with my baby!

Mackenzie is great! She was very communicative and sweet. I definitely plan to use her again in the future :)
