I've been privately pet sitting and dog walking since 2014 and a dog trainer since 2015 and continue to do so because it is truly my passion, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with animals. Whatever you may need, I can help with. I am extremely comfortable administering medications and am a trained grooming technician, so if your dog needs some special care or a just bit of primping I am happy to help. My prices reflect the amazing love, care, and expertise your pet will be getting with me. With my background as a dog trainer, you know your pup will be practicing their best manners (and maybe even pick up on some new ones) and getting to work their brain just as much as their body! Also included in my pet sitting price is a thorough cleaning of your home at the end of the stay, and with extended stays your pet will get their nails trimmed as well as a bath. Nothing says "welcome home" like a happy, fresh smelling pet! Your pet's health and happiness is my #1 priority!

Mackenzie is absolutely wonderful with our Weimaraner pup, Penny. Mackenzie stayed at our house while we were away for a weekend, and Penny had a blast! She is extremely professional and thorough with gathering information about the animals she cares for in order to provide the best possible experience. Mackenzie is also very knowledgeable with training and care needs, and as new dog parents we are fortunate to have learned a great deal from her. We’d be remiss not to mention all the fun photos she sent throughout her stay. We have already asked Mackenzie to stay with Penny during our honeymoon, and of course would highly recommend her to other pet families!
Mackenzie is super professional with an abundance of information. She has a pleather of expert skills that really show. She went above and beyond with the meet and greet and the dog walk. Tyson became best friends with her right away. I would recommend her to anyone that cares about their animals.

I have no breed, size, age, or sex preferences! I frequently work with pets that are very shy, anxious, reactive, or have other behavioral issues, so you can rest assured that I can handle just about anything your pet may or may not be struggling with. I take the time to form a close bond with all of my clients to make sure they feel completely safe and comfortable with me. I will send you a brief questionnaire prior to our meet & greet so I can get to know your dog a bit more beforehand. Meet & greets last anywhere from 1-2 hours and include an initial meeting at a local coffee shop or café followed by driving to the owner's home to take a tour and meet the pet(s). It is very important to me that both you and your pet(s) are very comfortable with me before scheduling any services. *prices may vary based on distance*
A typical day
Your dog can go to their favorite local places whether it be the park, the center of town, or even a visit to the pet store! I love to challenge dogs both physically and mentally, trying to incorporate both forms in order to fully exercise both their brains and bodies. Whether you have a new puppy or a slowing-down senior, they will get to play as much tug or get as many cuddles as we can possibly make time for!
