I am a current graduate student at the UW whose philosophy on dogs is that they are part of the family! I grew up around multiple dogs and have watched friends/family's dogs many times over the years. Our family dog growing up had diabetes and required twice daily injections, so I am familiar with and more than comfortable taking care of dogs with special health needs. Additionally, I am at school learning how to be a Pharmacist, so any medication or health needs your dog has does not faze me! I enjoy being active and would love to take your dogs on long walks or to a dog park. One of my favorite things to do is explore Seattle on foot, and having a dog with me makes it even better! If your dog is more of “Netflix and chill” kind of dog, I am equally as happy to cuddle up with them at home. When a dog stays with me, they will receive my full attention and be treated like royalty! I am also available to watch cats if your fur baby says "meow" instead of "bark" and have experience with small rodents. My goal when watching any animal is to make sure they are happy, healthy, and safe! House-sitting: When house-sitting, I plan on being at your house full-time (unless you would prefer otherwise). Being a student, I have a flexible schedule and your dog would never be home alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time. I am also happy to do other things around the house during my stay, such as watering plants, picking up mail, putting out garbage, etc. Drop-In Visits: I know that we all live busy lives these days, and I am happy to do a little bit of everything during a drop in visit! I will make sure your dog is fed, has water, and has gone a walk before I leave the visit.
