Pet care experience
I have worked in a boarding kennel setting as well as attending school for veterinary tech., taking care of animals is second nature to me. I’ve owned plenty of species as well as accommodating plenty of needs throughout my life and it’s something I truly love doing. Walking happy dogs and dropping in to care for other animals isn’t really work to me it’s something I actively enjoy.

Mackenzie did a great job with our kitties. She is trustworthy and very polite. Mackenzie sent us updates every day including pictures of our fur babies. We came home to 3 happy kitties!! We will definitely reach out to her next time we need a sitter!!

She has taken care of many animals in the past, all treated with all the care and love an animal would want. She has already taken care of many in the past including strays and sick animals
Mackenzie has always had a gift with animals from a very young age. Even as a child, where most kids shirk their pet responsibilities, she was always very involved in the care, maintenance, and general wellness of all her animals. It’s pretty impressive to see an 8 year old scour the internet for the best supplements for her aging dog or at 10, watch her give first aid to her cat that came home wounded from a fight. She is incredibly mature for her age and has always taken her responsibilities and commitments seriously. Your company and clients would be lucky to have her, and they can rest assured their “kids” are in very capable and caring hands.

I am pretty knowledgeable on animal behavior and can accommodate whatever needs your animal may have as far as things like crating before I leave or any other daily rituals. Working in a kennel setting I’ve gotten some pretty unique requests and I understand that every animal is different. As far as how I treat my own animals, they are treated like little individuals of the family with boundaries and respect and I’m sure every pet owner wants the same for their pet.

Please inform me on anything that might be important to know prior to setting anything up; examples: other dog aggression, food aggression, toy aggression, anxiety triggers, etc.. Honestly anything that could help allow for your pet to stay happy, anxiety free and healthy would be wonderful to know to insure everyone’s safety.
A typical day
I myself am an active, engaged and energetic person so I have no issues with dogs who are the same! Taking sightseeing walks through cities, parks, towns or hiking trails would be top tier on the list.

I work overnights so I’m very flexible during daytime hours, I prefer for it to be later in the day but I’m willing to make accommodations based on the situation.
