Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little kid, I was always surrounded by dogs. I grew up with almost 8 dogs in the household at a time, 6 dachshunds, a chihuahua, and a Pomeranian. Growing up, my parents would breed our dachshunds and sell the puppies, so I was always surrounded by puppies as little as 1 day old to about 6 weeks, and I learned how to properly care for them. Growing up, I also had neighbors who had two Newfoundlands that I was around a lot of the time as I hung out with their kids. I've dog sit for my boyfriend's parents who at the time had two older medium sized dogs that I would go to their house about 3 times a day to feed them, make sure they had water, and let them go outside. I've also dogsit and catsit for my boyfriend's uncle, who had a mastiff mix and two indoor/outdoor cats. Personally, I have two cats of my own, one that is 3 legged as well so I have experience with animals with disabilities. I would love to have a dog but unfortunately I live in an apartment that does not allow dogs at the moment while I go to college to study education. Overall, I'm just a nice college student that wants to create safe, positive atmospheres for people and their beloved pets! :) My cashapp is $k3ngyy for tips or for me to buy toys, treats, outfits, accessories, anything for your pet!!

Awesome!! Dog sitter!!
During the time that Mackenzie pet sit for me, it came to my attention that she was not there during the hours that she said she would be. I had a conversation with her and told her that it was my expectation that she would be there during the hours that we had agreed upon. She agreed and apologized. Then, I had further reason to believe that she was not there when she said she would be. At this point, her attitude changed and she let me know that she was not going to “rearrange her life” to be there with my pet. Again, I simply asked her to be there during the hours that she had promised to be. She informed me that she didn’t not consider this to be the type of job where she had to clock in and out, despite the fact that we had agreed, in writing, to specific times. I ended up having to replace her last minute with another sitter because I did not feel that I could trust her. Mackenzie is very young. It is my opinion that she is immature and has a poor work ethic. I don’t feel that she can be trusted and I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.
She took excellent care of our animals while we were away! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Mackenzie is a great person and loves animals. She is very responsible and would take great care of your animals. Let Mackenzie watch your pet and you won’t regret it!

With my cats, they are both indoor cats provided with a cat water fountain and both wet and dry food. I take what I'm told to do very seriously as everyone has different ways that they want to take care of their pets! I have no problem with special requests, providing toys or treats, or taking care of a little box or picking up after your dog on walks :) My cat, Rosie, last year suffered from Anemia, so for three months, I had to carefully take care of her while giving her medicine from a syringe in her mouth about 3 times a day. So I understand the hard parts that can come with pet care, and that it is not always fun and games!! I want to provide the safest environment I possibly can with my experiences and positive outlook at animals! :)
Information Mackenzie B. would like to know about your pet
I definitely need to know the behaviors of your dog. Are they friendly with other dogs? Do they chase cars or squirrels on walks? Are they more protective, or are they more carefree? How playful are they? Things like that. The breed of your dog will never matter to me as I believe all dog breeds can be wonderful pets and I love interacting with as many different dogs as I can! I just need to know ahead of time how your dog behaves, their likes/dislikes, and how they are to be taken care of so I can ensure I prepare the best I can for your dog!
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I watch on walks, and play with them outside. Playing fetch, tug of war, teaching tricks, I love being able to bond and connect with the dog I'm watching!

Availability
I'm currently working part-time at Corning Community College where I create my own schedule. Being a college student, I have a forever changing schedule so my time can be limited, but I will always let you know what my schedule is like before a booking. I also have my own car so transportation will never be an issue :)
