I LOVE animals and sincerely enjoy the honor of taking time to care for them and respect the trust that goes into allowing another person to take care of and love on your pet! I grew up with many animals: Oly our golden retriever, his best friend Passy our Persian cat, Leroyetta our box turtle from KS, Boomer our goldfish, Lightening, Ramona, Gretchen, & Webster our Jersey Wooly rabbits. I even took riding lessons for a few years and took care of horses too. Most recently my family has another Golden, 4 y/o Gracie (after Oly & then Mae passed), who loves to run and adventure, and my roommate has a spirited 2 y/o German Shepherd - Oaklee. I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty and putting in work to properly care and give attention to your pet (ie. letting in/out, picking up poop, brushing/grooming, walking/running, playing, feeding, etc.). I fully recognize that animals in our lives are essentially siblings and family members and I promise to treat them with such love and respect - as I hope others would do for my animals! I've pet sat and house sat for strangers, friends, and co-workers since high school through graduate school and am excited to have the opportunity to do so again. I have pet sat cats/kittens, puppies/dogs, from 10 weeks to 10 years; from golden retrievers, to golden doodles, to german shepherds, to mutts, and to pit bull mixes. I even had the opportunity to care for and house sit with a dog who has seizures so I am comfortable caring for animals who have disabilities as well. I am a very fit and active person and will gladly walk and/or run with your animal if they love that as well. I won't be a pet sitter who doesn't do what is agreed upon, doesn't show up or only does the bare minimum.
