Overall I think Macey did a solid job. Maggie seemed happy and tired when I got home and Macey left her with some bones which she is enjoying. I received pictures about every other day and Macey was very responsive when I reached out. My house was neat upon return. I do think there are some considerations if booking Macey for an overnight sit. She has an adorable one year old and 2 dogs who also stayed here (at least part of the time, from what I can tell). I think this might be a great fit for some animals, but I think it was overwhelming for Maggie who is used to just the 2 of us. My house is definitely not baby proof so I came home to a lot of things moved around and 2 small decorations were broken (could’ve been the dog(s)). On my back porch, there were dog chew marks on all 3 of my wooden chairs, chew marks on the side paneling of the door, and the door mat was completely destroyed. Maggie hasn’t chewed anything in 7 years, so not sure if it was another dog or a result of stress since Maggie was around so much she wasn’t used to. Again, like I said, most importantly Maggie seemed healthy, happy enough and tired and the house was in order upon return :)
