With a few caveats we love all other sizes and temperaments, like dogs with lots of energy and ones that need a quiet environment and every one in between. We have cared for dogs with health problems that needed pills or shots. We can go to a nearby dog park if you wish or just walk your dog. While the perfect dog for our pet sitting is wide open our only problems would be aggressive dogs, ones that destroy things when they are stressed, and ones that are incontinent unless they come with diapers (that we don't mind changing at all). We also would have to refuse extra large dogs

We love to interact with our doggy guests as much as they like. We know that some dogs come to us wanting walks and to playfully interact with us and others want to sleep and lie around most of the day. Since we are at home throughout the day we can let the dog lead us and be with them in whatever ways they want. That said, we don't let dogs walk all over us. We are disciplined here and we might even teach your dog a new trick if we have him/her for long enough. We never use negative training with dogs, we only use positive reinforcement and we have found that most dogs respond very well to this form of discipline. It should be clear, we would never hit a dog or mistreat them in any way. Our style of training and direction is calm and ordered with enough of a regimen to have your pooch act with respect. We have found that dogs love this approach. We have a large sports park a block away from us and beyond that a wonderful neighborhood that is wonderful to walk in. We let your dog and you tell us how long the walk needs to be. In between walks we take your dog outside in the back yard every 3-4 hours so they never have to wait for long to do their "business".
