Hi, my name is Mabel, I am a fellow physician with an abundance of love for dogs and cats! I have had a dog for 13 years in the recent past, and have since then also taken care of many other dogs. I have also taken care of many cats in the past few years. I am very comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I like to think that I provide a warm and safe home away from home for the pets that I watch. I can also do basic dog training if you are interested. I am happy to take your dog on walks to desired locations, including dog parks and other areas they might enjoy. I am also happy to send you updates/pictures of your pet during the time I am caring for them so that you feel connected!

Mabel is an amazing sitter! My dog had multiple medications and a special diet and she took excellent care of her. You can tell Mabel really loves the dogs she watches as if they are her own. It was so nice to go out of town and know that my dog was in such good hands.

Mabel was great with Roxie! We had a difficult time finding someone who met all of our criteria. Roxie is a 50 pound, high-energy, and reactive dog who can be challenging to walk. Mabel was agreeable to meet us first so Roxie could be comfortable before leaving her for a stay. During her stay, we were provided updates with pictures that we appreciated! Roxie seemed very comfortable with Mabel. Her calming energy was a great fit for our anxious pup. We will be happy to book with her again!

A typical day
I like to keep pets physically and mentally stimulated. We will play with toys and games, practice any tricks they may already know and maybe try to learn some new ones! We will also go on long walks and, if part of their routine, drives around to explore the neighborhood and parks.

I’m currently working very flexible hours and will have plenty of time to spend with your pups. I also have most weekends off and can dedicate all my time to the care of your beloved pets.
