Pet care experience
Growing up, I wished for a dog every birthday. When we moved to America in '99 I got that wish with my Golden Retriever, Sydney (RIP). I developed an intense bond that has persisted across breeds and strengthened as years went past. My mom made sure I walked Sydney every day as I knew it was my dog. Then I went off to college. I graduated from SF State with a BA in Liberal Studies. While I was away Sydney passed away, but now I'm back home and we have Bongo, a very special Duck Tolling Retriever. My availability is very open so just ask if you have any more questions. Some more general info: Born in Israel, Belgian citizen, learned English in Taiwan. Love music--play guitar and sing. I am working to refine my writing and aim to get published soon.

Marteen has stayed at my house with my 2 dogs and puppy and I have always felt confident that they are all well loved and cared for
Maarten watched our cat and dog for almost a week at our house while we traveled to the east coast. He was amazing! We have a pitbull who is difficult to walk. She lunges after squirrels and is not great with other dogs. Maarten had no difficulty, walked her daily and took care of her and the cat like they were his own! He sent daily pictures and videos and reached out when he had any questions. We will definitely be using Maarten again in the future! Highly recommend his services!!
Maarten is great with or dog, Beta! He walks her twice a week on our busiest days, and we feel so happy that she gets to break up her day with a walk. Not only does Maarten cover a lot of distance in the alloted time, he also frequently sends pictures or videos, gives us detailed updates, and even brings his own dog sometimes (great way for her to socialize with other dogs). We can’t thank Maarten enough! Definitely would recommend :)

I usually do a mix of neighborly walks and walks at the parks that my mom and I and our dog frequent. I usually like to get my dog involved if your dog and mine have met and have hit it off because then my buddy gets extra exercise and yours has a friend to play with.
