Hi! My name is Maaike (micah), I’m located in Kansas City and have been professionally dog walking for 16 years! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I found confidence in those responsibilities, and a love that is unmatched. My passion for animals extends into my knowledge for animal care. I’ve volunteered at animal special needs shelters, cared for animals of all kinds, and have a desire to grow in knowledge with every unique animal I meet. I strive to excel expectations, and make your furbabies the most comfortable, and entertained they can be when their family is away. I have had animals my whole life. I truly believe it when they say they’re more than just pets, they’re family. Maaike did a fantastic job with my sweet cat Peach. She went above and beyond to make sure that Peach got plenty of love and cuddles. She sent me daily videos and pictures of Peach while I was away and I trusted her with my house keys without any problems. Maaike is extremely reliable, kind, hard working, and professional. My cat loved her and I will be using her services in the future!
Maaike goes over and beyond with my animals! I have two dogs and three cats! She’s is trusted with a key to my home and comes two feed my animals when I’m on extended trips. I’ve gone away for over a Week with no worries and a peace of mind that my animals would be cared for as I were home. She takes the time to pet each one of them as well as play with them. Each time I’ve come home my house has been left in the condition I left it in! She got my mail without me asking! Took notes on behaviors of my animals when asked! Sent me video and picture updates. I am beyond happy we found one another and recommend her highly to anyone hoping to find a genuine animal lover. She is now one of my friends as well as someone I plan to hire again in the future!

A typical day
I love to play with dogs! It’s one of the perks of being a dog caregiver! Dog walks, whether we slide in the snow or frolic in the fields, I love to walk around with pups and explore new neighborhoods! (or even walk the park in my neighborhood!) Bonus is tug o war / fetch are popular with your dogs. I LOVE to play with dogs. Seriously. Love it.
