I've been an ongoing doggy daycare worker for 6 years now, having continuous experience with different dogs and their behavior. I've been a dog walker for about four years and know exactly what a pet may need in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I've administered medications that a veterinarian would as well as boarded dogs at the facility I work at.

First I always take in the instructions before putting in my own ideas from an owner. I think it's wise to have a crate trained dog so it is somewhere they feel safe when their owners are gone for a moderate amount of time. It's very important to make sure the clients pets are always comfortable and well played with.

I would like to know any specific behavior issues a dog has so I know what they are comfortable with. I also would like to know food allergies and how they interact with other animals.
A typical day
For the dogs that I watch, I always want to make sure their physical and mental needs are met. An idea for a typical day is taking a dog or two for a blissful walk followed by going by the park and playing fetch or letting them use pent up energy. After this, they can relax in the shade under a tree or back at the owners house with a nice cool bowl of water.

Availability
Currently I am working at CDA pet Resort in Coeur d'alene. Outside of work, I have a lot of free time each day to take care of pets. I'm the most available during the weekend.
