I’m a lifelong pet owner looking to spend some time with your sweet pups (and kitties!) after losing my beloved bulldog-boxer mix a few years ago. I spent all of college and grad school pet sitting, and after a hiatus while I had my own dog and kids, I’m loving getting to know so many wonderful pets and pet owners in the area. I work fully remotely so can be around for the day, overnight, or for many nights in a row for your pets. I am experienced and comfortable with senior dogs, puppies, and everything in between. I am happy to stay on top of medications and other special needs as well.

Lynne was amazing! She stayed at our house in July while we were traveling for a week. This was the first time for us to leave our puppy overnight, so needless to say, we were a bit worried about how our 13-month-old pup would do without us. Lynne immediately put both the dog and us at ease. Throughout the week, she sent us pictures and quick updates. We met up with Lynne again a few days after our trip and the dog was super happy to see her. We will definitely reach out to her again when we need somebody to watch our dog.
Lynne was amazing! Her calming presence, grounded energy, and clear communication were a gift. Our dog was so relaxed and happy when we returned. Thanks for the awesome care Lynne!
Lynne has been our trusted pet sitter for years! She is compassionate, detailed oriented, and able to take care of any special needs our pup has had. She has provided walking services and pet sitting/check-in services for us many times for multiple pets(dogs and cats). Our pup was always excited to see her, happy and healthy. She was able to send pictures to us and sent updates while overnight sitting for us and cat check-ins. I would HIGHLY recommend Lynne for any pet care needs!

Your home and your pet(s) will be as well cared for as I would my own home and loved ones. I only offer sitting in your home, for your pets comfort and because my cat is a fighter, not a lover. 🐈⬛

Let me know if your pet has any challenges interacting with others -- dogs, cats, people, kids, etc., which will help me make sure they're safe and happy and set up for success. I also always want to know about any allergies, medical issues, how they are on-and-off-leash, favorite spots, and their routines, since a dog sticking to their routine is a happy dog. I ask that you let me know in advance if there are any guns in the home for everyone’s safety, and if there are any video cameras (some of my work calls contain confidential information).
A typical day
My favorite spots to bring dogs are trails in the woods; recent dog walks have included Jewell Falls in the Fore River Sanctuary, as well as Baxter Woods, both in Portland. I live in Deering Center in Portland, but I've lived in and around the area my entire life so I've got loads of little nooks and crannies to explore. When permitted, getting dogs to the beach is also always a source of joy!

Availability
I work remotely, meaning I can spend lots of time cuddling your furry loves, and I love a good long walk in the woods, at the park, or on the beach. Open to stays as short as a few hours and as long as a week or more, depending on location and schedule. My 7yo daughter loves to join me, but I can also schedule myself for times she's with her other parent if that's more your style (and I never bring her the first time or without your permission in advance).
