Calm, confident, gentle

Pet care experience

I’ve had 14 months of experience fostering puppies under 9 months old and placing them with new families. This involves dealing with shelter dogs and new litters, along with the challenges of decompression.

Lynne was a great home away from home for my dog! She learned how to administer insulin, and also picked her up due to scheduling changes on my end. Lynne was genuinely excited to meet her at our meet and greet, and was very communicative with pics and texts during her stay. She has an outdoor space and plenty of indoor room for her to walk around in. Would definitely have her stay with Lynne again!

Lynne took such great care of Zoey! She was great at communicating and giving updates on her stay too. I would definitely recommend Lynne and would use her again.

Lynne is the best! She has been taking care of my JohnnyB for a couple of months and he and I both love her. Lynne is kind and patient with pups and humans alike. She is dependable, consistent, and has a true understanding of how dogs think. I am very particular about who cares for JB and can rest and travel easily knowing he is in the capable and loving hands of Lynne.

Lynne is a trusted friend who has fostered numerous dogs with a love, kindness and thoughtful attention to each dog’s individual personality and needs. She takes the responsibility of placing her foster dogs in their forever homes with the seriousness each pup deserves. It takes a special person with a generous heart to do this important work and to do it as well as she does. In addition to being reliable and caring, she is an all around lovely human being. I’ve no doubt she will approach pet sitting with the same qualities she brings to fostering. I know I could rest assured that my dog (which she helped me find) would be in great hands with her.

Information Lynne H. would like to know about your pet

I’d appreciate learning about any special needs the dog has so that I can provide accommodations. Also, is the dog crate-trained, house-broken, food-aggressive, treat-motivated? Does she/he like other dogs? Temperament/energy level?

A typical day

I regularly enjoy the Twinning Valley Dog Park, the Wiss for a hike, and sometimes a trip out to Rolling Hill in Gladwyne. If the dog is social and enjoys meeting new people, we’ll visit friends, and do parallel walks with other dogs. Cuddles on the couch are lovely too!

I work from my home 9-5 pm, M-F. If boarding, I get in an 1 hour walk in the morning. I am an avid walker and hiker, and will prioritize a trip to the dog park if that’s in alignment with the temperament and personality of that dog I’m working with.
