I am retired and am home most of the day so your best friend will be given my love and attention all day! Currently, I do not have a dog, but have owned dogs my whole life. My loving standard poodle passed away 13 yrs. ago at the age of 14. I currently have no pets. I accept dogs that are potty trained only. I love all breeds; however,I do not take dogs that shed. I do not want problems with a dog that isn't friendly! If a dog isn't trained to sit at the door before going out but rather bolts and runs I am not interested in caring for him/her. I have had one problem in the past and don't want another. Those dogs are best kept with someone who has a fenced yard to run. About this sitter: I am widowed. I've always had a special love for animals and have had many through the years. I am a kind, caring individual who loves to cook, bake, garden & travel when time allows. I practice yoga weekly. Why I love dog sitting Have had dogs since childhood. I have rescued dogs & birds from bad situations and provided vet care, etc. for them for years. About my yard No fenced yard, but I do have a large flat back yard for the dog to be on a run. I would take the dog out on a leash several times daily. My experience administering medication Yes, however I prefer only oral meds.
