Pet care experience
I have 16 years of experience caring for multiple family dogs including 1 collie mix, 2 Siberian Huskies, and 1 German Shepherd and as a military family we have had the opportunity to dog sit many times at past locations. We decided to join Rover as a way to do something that the whole family enjoys and to expose my children (11 year old daughter and 6 year old son) to a greater responsibility using something they love a lot... dogs! Because we are in a rental property that doesn't allow pets, we are more than willing to help care for others' pets to continue to maintain that love and connection to some furry friends! I would bring one or both children with me most of the time to drop in to check on your pets or walk them which will give your dog(s) even more extra attention, if that's something you're comfortable with.

She is “Mom” to two very loving and happy dogs of her own, and she has fostered very caring and compassionate relationships with many other dogs who belong to her family and friends. She is always responsive to a dog’s needs, and ensures that they receive plenty of love and attention in her care. I absolutely recommend Lynn as a caregiver to other dogs!

Does your dog do well around children? Does your dog have any disabilities that would need extra attention. Does your dog tend to bolt or run away on walks or are there certain types of dogs along walks that tend to make your dog upset that I'd need to avoid? Are there areas of your yard where your dog may escape as seen by past behavior? Any pet foods your dog is allergic to or needs to avoid at certain times? Is there training that your dog is undergoing that I may need to remember certain commands or responses to in order to help keep your dog on track and not regress?
A typical day
Your dog's care instructions would be reviewed and followed accordingly. Your dog would get extra pets and cuddles from me and my kids and any play time Your dog might want (playing catch, tricks, etc.) would be provided. We are patient on walks, allowing dogs to take the time to sniff and savor their environment.

Availability
Our family is available to walk your dog from 6-7 PM on weekdays and flexible on weekends. Our family is also available to do drop-in care at your residence on weekends.
