Pet care experience
I will take Perfect care of your family pet as I would my own! I currently don’t have my own dogs, so please take advantage of all the love I can give your pets at this time! Your pet will be comfortable and exercised, if needed. I’m fine with medications or any other specials needs your pet may have. I have a large fenced in backyard, and a pet friendly house. I have owned cats, birds, and dogs. My last two dogs were border collies, before them I had a golden retriever/black lab mix. All lived for about 15 years. Small or large, I love them all! I have taken care of many friends dogs and cats and have excellent references. I especially like to walk or hike with dogs on the beach, on trails, or in the neighborhood. If that’s something your dog would like, great! If not, daily naps and just hanging out is fine too!

Lynn was just wonderful! Wow! Our beagle Copper felt so at home the minute he met her, and he is usually a little nervous around new people. Lynn's home is lovely and pet-friendly and it is clear how much she loves dogs. Copper spent the whole day with her and she took outstanding care of him -- taking him on a walk, playing ball with him in the backyard, and making sure he had everything he needed. Lynn was so great about communicating, sending pictures, and being flexible about pick up time while we enjoyed a day in Santa Barbara. Lynn is so nice and friendly, and we are so glad we found her! We will definitely ask her to sit for Copper again when we return to Santa Barbara. Thank you, Lynn!

I have a fully enclosed 6 foot high large fenced in Back yard. I don’t leave dogs home alone in the yard, if they need to be home alone for errands or preciously agreed periods of time, I ensure they are comfy and safe inside.

A typical day
I will walk daily in the neighborhood, hike trails and go to the beach/Douglas preserve, or whatever works best for your pup, once, twice or as much as needed. I love to exercise, but I'm ok with a less energetic guest as well. I will allow animals on furniture and bed if that is what they are used to, just need to know ahead and I will lay a towel down or whatever is comfortable. We will be cozy.

I work part-time 2 days a week and arrange intermittent care on those 2 days as needed. I’m home when I board dogs most of the time.
