I have owned two dogs at separate times in my life for about 20 years total having a dog in the home daily. I appreciate all they give to us and what we can do to support them. I enjoy taking them on safe adventures, long walks, out in the town, playing fetch. I have bunch of dog beds and dog toys and supplies already in my home. I keep leashes in my car - you just never know when someone needs rescuing. I am adept at some hand signal commands. I understand the importance of boundaries to help the dogs know that they are cared for. I listen well to the owners - each dog has their own personality. I miss my dog, but am not ready for full time ownership. This will help me, too.
