I've cared for 300 rescue dogs..

Pet care experience

I am a retired nurse, in my own home with a sizable, grassy green yard. Your furry family members have access to the yard through the dog door at all times, or if you prefer supervision while outside- I will ensure that they are outside every few hours to relieve themselves and play. In my recent past I/we founded and a non-profit and adopted out over 300 dogs in the last 7 years. I no longer rescue dogs. PetSmart management did a walk-through of my yard and environment and were very impressed with area provided for the rescue dogs (at that time - I had 10 adoptable dogs-all free roaming, and existing in harmony. Most dogs were rescued from LA county and San Bernardino County animal shelters. When the shelter dogs arrived they were often sickly, depressed and afraid. Most required only a loving touch, and a healthy diet- each dog thrived and it was the most rewarding job ever. I enjoyed it immensely, however, since I have retired, I no longer rescue dogs but would love the opportunity to spend time with yours... I have 2 dog doors which allows access to the house, in addition if separation is needed, I have plenty of x pens and crates-also additional yard fencing...or simply if your dog needs alone time, he or she will be accomodated. My own dogs are fixed and up-to-date on their vaccines. If you have a very small dog (approximately 12 pounds) I can accommodate him or her in a separate fenced area with access to the house through it"s own dog door. I will offer a lower price for 7 consecutice days. Or I will definitely consider visiting your home once or twice a day if you'd like to leave your dogs and their own home setting and if your animal pet allows visitors. If your dog is a a medium sized or smaller senior dog and it gets along with others I will accept it if it's very calm and kind. Please refer to the photos... dogs love it it's like a tiny dog park.

Lynn is a true dog whisper! There's a special place in heaven for people that foster animals. I adopted a small adult rescue dog from her and my rescue loves Lynn so much she cannot contain her excitement when she see's her. Lynn knew my rescue's personality very well and she was a dream to work with. Shortly after we brought the dog home, she was kenneled in Lynn's home and I cannot think of kinder more animal loving situation. If the individual is a Foster Mom for dogs, you know her heart is in 100%. Obviously she's in it for the love of animals and the animals get that vibe right away. Don't hesitate to kennel your loved one here with Lynn, she's a gift.

Lynn has been my go to person when adopting my fur babies. She is remarkable at helping each new little one adapt when she has them in her home. Her ability to work with dogs and recognizing their needs is fantastic. Lynn has dedicated much of her life in helping rescue /shelter dogs and I have never seen a house set up so well to accommodate multiple dogs. There is outdoor space to play and indoor accommodations that give the dogs freedom to explore without getting into mischief. I would recommend Lynn as a caregiver to anyone. She is kind, compassionate and a true pack leader.

Lynn loves animals. I met her when we adopted our puppy, as she was his rescue mom. Working with dogs and horses are her passion. She likes to keep in touch with her adopted dog owners and see pictures of them, as they’ve become loved and cared for by their new owners. You will love having her care for your pets. After all, isn’t that we all want from a pet sitter? For them to love our fur babies as much as we do? Lynn is that special person.

I have known Lynn Janosco for over 15 years and am happy to provide this testimonial on her behalf. Not only is Lynn an excellent caretaker of her own pets (dogs and horses), but there is no one I would trust more to look after my dogs while away from home. She never fails to be conscientious of their food and water intake, but is also very much aware of their general well being. She takes note of any mood or behavioral changes that would warrant further attention. She truly relieves a pet owner's stress of being away from their animals for any duration of time. I know she would be an excellent asset to the Rover team.

Questions I would like answered ... What is your family furry breed, gender, and size? Is your dog fixed, and is your dog house trained? I watch little dogs under 15 lb- I have to dog doors which allows access to the house. I have crates and x pens for dogs that need alone time.

A typical day

I love little dogs... I have 3 dogs, one is a fluffy puppy that was given to me by one of my (nursing students)-and I was able to fix the parent dog!... My puppy, loves to play ( fortunately he has low to medium energy and knows his place in the household ) and a senior dog that keeps to himself... In addition, I have a loving small Aussie dog that is very nurturing to little dogs- as you will see and many photos.
