I just recently retired from working at New Albany Schools, and the Guidance Counselor had a service dog she would bring every day for the little children who would come to school sad, or crying, or just wanted a little love. This dog showed so much love. Also, my mother would have all kinds of dogs in our house when I was young. I learned that dogs need discipline. They are happier when we show them our attention and love. My special skill is to have them smell me first with my hand, be calm, talk softly to them, and love them unconditionally. My availability would be 3 or 4 times a week, depending on who or what is needed. In other words, I am available.m
