Hello, my name is Lynn & I look forward to welcoming your pet to my home. Until I lost my beloved dog to cancer, I had been a dog owner for many years and am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I only watch one dog at a time, two if with the same family so your dog will have plenty of individualized attention. I live in a townhouse close to a lake and wetlands, so there are lots of good places to sniff and wildlife to watch on our walks. I also live very close to Argonne & Waterfall Glen so if your dog enjoys nice long walks, we can make sure we visit during their stay. I do not have a back yard, so your dog will have lots of exercise with at least three walks a day with lots of animal friends and people to meet! When I'm not home, your dog will be restricted to the downstairs level of the house, but will be welcome to roam when someone is home. In the evenings they can sleep wherever they feel comfortable. I will send texts or e-mail updates so you know your pet is doing well in your absence, and can enjoy your time away. Your dog will receive lots of loving care in my home with plenty of toys and treats (if allowed) and a dog friendly neighborhood to explore. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs in my life since I was young when my sister and I found a stray dog who eventually became a part of our family. Over the years there have been mixed breeds and more recently pure bred dogs in my life, each with their own unique personality and all have been equally loved. About my yard I do not have a backyard, but do have a fenced in deck off my dining area and kitchen, so your dog can sit outside and enjoy the weather when we are not walking. My dog always loved to sit out there and sniff the air and watch the birds & animals. My experience administering medication I am comfortable with administering medication orally, but do not have experience at this time with giving shots.
