Pet care experience
Hi! I'm a travel nurse and will be working on Martha's Vineyard for the summer. I'm a huge dog lover. Back home, I had my little Trixie girl. The most loving little Cavalier/Beagle mix, she was the love of my life and my heart misses her every day. She crossed Rainbow Bridge a few years ago. Trixie's best friend is Cricket, my sister's Australian Shepherd who is also full of love. (Pictures of these furballs will happily be shown on request :) I understand the stress of needing to find a reliable person for doggy care. I love spending time with Cricket when I'm home in Pittsburgh and also volunteered for Animal Friends and the Western PA Humane Society in the past. During my last travel assignment in Greenville SC, I was able to volunteer at Animal Care of Greenville. It was awesome to get my doggy fix while helping out an amazing animal shelter. I'm mature and reliable and will take excellent care of your dog(s)...and hopefully have some fun and exercise with them, too. My weekly schedule varies, but I'll be working 12 hours shifts at the MV Hospital and can keep you updated on my availability.

Lynn is fantastic! After just two weeks of working with her and getting to know her, I knew she was a trustworthy, dependable person. I also quickly learned that we were dog loving soul-sisters! So when my husband and I had to leave town for a weekend and find someone to watch our dog, she was the first person I asked. Lynn came over to our house and stayed with our Cooper the entire time we were gone. I felt super comfortable with her staying in our house, and also confident that Cooper would be well taken care of. And he was! She sent us updates and pictures frequently, and when we returned I could tell our guy was well loved and entertained. She is a gem!
Lynn is a huge animal lover. She always gives my golden retriever (that is a total nut) extra love and attention. She’s caring and reliable. You couldn’t pick a better person to care for your pup!

If it's a solo dog, anything relating to safety...does the dog have any aggression issues? Any triggers for aggression (loud noises, storms, other dogs, people wearing hats)? Does your dog interact well with others...both humans and other animals (good w dogs? bad w cats? etc). Does your dog have any allergies or health problems? How does your dog walk on a leash?
A typical day
I'll let you guide me in what works best for your dog...whether is walking/playing in your yard or if street/beaching walking is an option. This may not be the same for each dog. I'm open to suggestions and love to play with toys too.
