Pet care experience

I've had about a lifetime of expirence caring for pets - everything from dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, guniea pigs, lizzards, etc. I have a 501(c)3 non profit rescue but am currently not rescuing at this time, so I've had an extreme amount of expirence with dogs. Old Dogs, Adults, Young, Babies... I've trained numerous double Merles whom were deaf & my past dog home was even vision impaired. I've taken care of dogs with parvo, done sub q fluids, rehabbed aggressive and terrified dogs and given dogs their routine immuninzations. I am very savvy with animals & there isn't one that terrifies me. Any size or temperment. I will host any type of animal. I am huge into the dog being part of the famlily I would not mind having your pup cuddle up on the couch. I do work days 8 to 4:30 thru the week. Home all weekend. I have every size kennel imaginable, I have small crates, to the largest they make. I have extremely heavy duty crate & I have outdoor kennels. I have 2 10x10x6 for runs and excersize or quarantine/kennel & I have a smaller one for puppies. I prefer if it's a baby puppy (under 20 weeks) to have you let me know ahead of time due to parvo risks. I completely sanitize everything between dogs & keep my house clean as well. Everything is sanitized. You can tell me - how you want your dog cared for. I offer general training as well - they didn't have a selection for that.

Information Lyndsi I. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know the dogs size/weight/age. Breed and if they are people or dog aggressive. Do they like children? I have a 7 year old that is with me sometimes, she's savvy and used to dogs. I have absolutely no breed restrictions. Just incase I'm cat sitting too, it's a good idea to tell me if they have a high prey drive. What the energy level is & what they'd most like to feel at home. I prefer my clients bring their dog food to avoid as many unnecessary changes & upset bellies. Are they on medication I need to administer? Anything at all an owner can tell me about them. Are they deaf? Special needs? Potty trained. I offer training as well if needed.

A typical day

This depends if the dog is coming to my house or I'm going to the dogs house. We have a dog park close by and with owner approval (and a fully vaccinated dog) we could go there and play. I always research the area I'm going if I don't know it so I know where I can walk the dogs. We have an appalachian trail and I often take dogs walking on that (or jogging/running if it is an active dog). It's all about the dog, some dogs perfer a short walk and a nice belly rub and cuddle. My dog, she loves to hang her head out of the window while we drive.
