Pet care experience
Hi I’m Lynden, I am a college student at MIAT, as an Aviation Mechanical Engineer. My sister, Lyric attends Texas Southern university . Lyric and I will be caring for your animals together as a team. Our hobbies include church activities, volunteering, fishing, biking, working out and fostering pets with Best Friends of Houston. We love all kinds of animals and have had pets in our home since we were was a small children. My family and I have a small dog, Peachie and we also have a cat, named Pumpkin. We have enjoyed fostering larger dogs because of they’re energy and love of playing outdoors. We walk frequently at the Willow Water Hole and Buffalo Run park. We love all animals big or small. There’s always enough love for everyone.

Very good stay and enjoyed that my dogs enjoyed themselves
My dog Lucy has a history of being a little nervous and suffering from separation anxiety. Each time she goes to stay with Lyndon and his family, she returns relaxed and happy. He is flexible and sends many photos and updates about her while I’m away. I’m very happy that I’ve made this connection.
I can't praise this family enough. I originally declined this stay for a sitter who was cheaper (that ended up being a NIGHTMARE). I had to pick up my Reese from that sitter and Lynden and his family stepped up and took my dog in with my VERY LAST MINUTE request (and saved my vacation plans). They picked my dog up from my place when I was stressed about making in time to leave for my vacation. They were patient and kind and understanding of the situation. They sent plenty of photos of my dog and communicated with me. My dog Reese had a great vacation, too! I have certainly found my new dog sitter!!

Please, advise me about any medical, physical or schedule needs or desires. I do my best to accommodate any and all needs. For the safety and care of all boarders, I will not be available to host any pets with aggression issues. We do not board the following breeds, including any dogs mixed with the following: Pit Bull, Boxer, Husky, Akita, Chow Chow, Rottweiler.
A typical day
A typical day starts between 6-7am for an early morning walk in the neighborhood, return for breakfast, fun time with toys and play with other animals or rest if needed. If the weather permits I load up the pets to visit the Buffalo Bayou park or take a brisk walk to The Willow Waterhole. If there is light rain or mist we will walk the neighborhood. Usually, my boarders are tired from that and enjoy ice water and snack while cooling down. The evening meal is given out around 6pm followed by a stroll. Free play and cuddles end out our evening.
