I have fostered puppies for the second largest rescue in Oklahoma for five years. I have been a pet sitter for three years. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and rabbits. I can administer pills and inoculations. I'm certified in Pet Tech pet first aid. I have trained a dog to become a therapy dog, and we make visits to nursing homes, hospitals, and adult day cares. We also visit schools in book buddy programs. I have experience with dogs of a variety of personalities. Foster dogs have unknown personalities. I socialized my fosters and potty trained them. I have never had a behavorial problem with my fosters dogs and my resident dogs. The incoming dogs are introduced slowly so everyone can feel comfortable. I have fostered over 50 dogs successfully. I taught a deaf foster obedience using sign language. I have trained my dogs in obedience since the 1990s. I have a large backyard with 6-foot fences all around. So there is lots of room to run and play. The yard has been puppy proofed with edging around the areas of the fence. During the summer months, I provide a kiddie swimming pool for dogs to play and cool off. I have a 12-foot round puppy pen for outings and exercise. I supervise all dogs when they are outside. If I need to leave the house, I have crates to keep your dogs safe. For the safety of your dogs in my house, the dogs are put outside when I need to open the front door and the laundry room door is closed so the dogs have no access to the inside garage door. One of my dogs suffers from storm anxiety. So I have experience in comforting dogs with anxiety. I can use Melatonin, isolation, and essential oils.
