Pet care experience
There have always been animals in my home since I was a kid! Dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, you name it!! Wanting to be a veterinarian was a childhood goal. I soon realized that there are other ways to work with animals. I’ve always taken care of the families pets and currently have 2 6 year old cats and a 10year old dog. I currently work in a setting where I come in contact with over 60 dogs a day of all shapes sizes and behaviors. I have experience with handling semi aggressive dogs, feeding and medications, bathing, nails, and playtime. I don’t have any breed fears. I am dog CPR certified. Let me play with your pup!!

Hi! My name is Shanon and lyla has been taking care of my dog for quite some time now and she is not just good with dogs, but amazing! She has built a relationship and a bond with my dog that is rare to see these days. My dog was a rescue and needed some special attention. Lyla goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is happy and healthy. She walks her, plays with her, trains her to do new tricks even though shes an older dog now, bathes her and even makes her puppicinos when she is is an extra good girl. She would play with her all day if she could lol. There is nobody better to take care of your dogs physical needs and even psychological and emotional needs than lyla. Lyla has taken excelent care of my dog Cora. She loves all animals. Everyday Cora can't wait for Lyla to show her face because she knows its play time, hugs and kisses time, and lets learn some new tricks time. Any dog she sees she will give a treat to, that is if mom and dad say its ok. She knows basic first aid for dogs. I trimmed my dogs nails one day and i hit the quick because she has black nails, I panicked but Lyla said get the flour put her paw in it and it should be ok and it was. If she doesn't know something about a certsin dog she looks it up or calls someone who does. She works with dogs everyday, and everyday she has a smile on her face because she played with the pups. Love and care is what Lyla has for her pups. Rest assured with Lyla all pups are in good hands. And the main word here is LOVE!
Lyla knows my pups like her own! She provides excellent care for them whether it’s a few hours during the day or an overnight stay. I know my pups are getting lots of love, attention, and play time!

I can walk your dog that maybe doesn’t get along in social groups, or I can take them to dog parks! I’m pretty flexible and look out for your animals needs first. If they need to be home, I can do that too. Cleaning up any messes that might occur and playing a variety of games to tire them out.

A typical day
I love to play!! Tug of war, keep away, fetch, chase! Or we can go for walks! The dog park is always fun! We can do lick mats and tricks. Or even just relax on the floor.

Availability
I do my own animals bathing and nails (including cats). Feeding is done on a schedule for all animals in our household. All chores are done daily to ensure healthy babies. We have playtime and do tricks everyday. My cats get eye drops and they haaaate it. I work in a facility that has shown me how to feed and dispense medications, bathing and nails, break up fights, calm nervous nellys, and play with every breed.
