Dogcation farm getaway!
Pet care experience
I have owned and cared for pets about 25+ years, mainly dogs, cats and horses. Living a farm life, I couldn't imagine a day without dogs around!! I have had rescue dogs in the past, I've helped with fostering puppy litters, and I have done volunteer work in the past for animal shelters. Frequently, I take care of horses and dogs/ house sit for several people, some of which I have been doing so for 8+ years. I am excellent with animal health and how to respond if there are any problems, I also have a B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science. Dogs are an important part of the family, I like to treat every dog I care for as if it were my own!

Lydia is awesome with all animals! She not only will love on your fur baby, but she has a wealth of knowledge about dog nutrition and healthcare. She has experience managing farms, and knows how to take care of and be responsible for animals. Plus, she loves doggy snuggles!
Lydia has dog sat for me multiple times and my dogs love her! She makes sure they are cared for in the way I want, including walks and photo updates for me when I’m out of town. She seems to genuinely care about my dogs being happy, and I feel very comfortable leaving town knowing she’s taking care of them. Highly recommend!

I do not have any breed preferences! I am pretty flexible with any dog, I love to meet and get to know all kinds.
A typical day
Depending on your preference, I can walk your dog around where you live or take them to a park in the area, such as lick creek, wolfpen creek, or other parks in this area! I am also willing to throw tennis balls with fetch addicts, play with their favorite toys, lounge for naps, give treats and belly scratches, etc.
