Accommodating and Energetic!
Pet care experience
I have worked with multiple animals over the years and gained many experiences along the way. During the summer of 2020, I interned at the Methuen MSPCA shelter, working with a variety of animals that ranged from rats to horses. My workday consisted of administering medications to cats, dogs, and smaller animals, interacting with clients and visitors, feeding and interacting with cats, and looking after newly surrendered animals during their first few hours when they are most vunerable. My family also owns a 70 pound, 9 year old dog who absolutely loves going outside. She is nervous around strangers and new dogs, so I am comfortable speaking up for dogs that need their personal space and time of their own. I also often take her for I often cat-sit in my hometown neighborhood throughout the year. I also have experience fostering multiple cats. I love spending time with animals and believe that people can benefit from being near them just as much as the other way around. My plan for taking care of all animals, including your pet(s) is to accommodate all their needs, so that when you return to them, they are relaxed and happy.
Reviews
Lydia was amazing! She was very communicative and sent lots of great pics of my happy and tired out pup. She had good questions for me and left my apartment very neat and clean! My neighbors who encountered Lydia told me she was great with my dog and seemed very sweet as well. I’ll definitely be adding her to my rotation of sitters.
Lydia always goes above and beyond with her updates and time spent with our golden retriever when she checks in on her and always provides the best updates! We will definitely have her check in on Mystic again.
Lydia did an amazing job looking after my cat while I was away. She always sends pictures and is great at communicating how he was doing.
Lydia was excellent!

A typical day
I am incredibly happy to adjust to your dog's or cat's needs and wants. Whether this is lounging around at home or going on multiple long walks a day, I will do whatever is needed to ensure that they get the most attention and are as comfortable as possible. When I am taking care of a dog, my first priority is to make sure that walks are enjoyable. This means that wherever we go, there will be lots of greenery and scents. If your dog is nervous around people, loud noises, etc. we will explore quieter areas.
