I will be your dogs best friend

Pet care experience

I've been caring for animals since I can remember, with dogs having always been my favorite. I grew up with dogs, and to me, they're a necessary part of life. Their love, affection, goofy personalities, and general presence provide such therapeutic relief. The least we can do, as owners, is our very best to give them the greatest life. Aside from my dogs growing up (Sophie, Lilly, Brie), I volunteered at an animal rescue where I became very acquainted with all breeds, personalities, and dispositions. I learned how to read body language, to know if a dog is comfortable with your presence, or strangers you may come across while walking. I have a beautiful boy and girl of my own, Edmund, who is an 8 year old greyhound, and Mae, a 7 year old greyhound, both of whom love literally everyone and everything they meets. They are the greatest parts of my life, and the reason I decided to become a rover walker/sitter.

Information Lydia O. would like to know about your pet

All breeds welcome. Please let me know how your dog behaves around other dogs, cats, men/women, and children. Is there any food aggression? Toy aggression? Sleep aggression? How are they on lead? Do they walk/run well? How do they react to cars and squirrels when out for a walk?

A typical day

I live a block away from a small, forested park where my dogs enjoy taking walks. When it’s cold and rainy, we stay closer to home. My apartment community is fenced in, and offers extensive walkways and grassy spaces that my dogs love to sniff.
