I grew up with a Labrador Retriever who lived to be 16 under my loving care. I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have been providing excellent care for dogs for over 20 years. I currently have a dachshund and a terrier, but hope to have a large dog again someday. I particularly love large, athletic breeds that want to run and play! Hiking is a favorite activity for me and my dogs and clients! Of course I adore puppies as well and would love to help them start good habits and manners at a young age. My experience with dog sitting has included German Shepherds, Labradors and LabraDoodles, Golden Retrievers and GoldenDoodles, Huskies, Pit Bull mixes, Terriers (Norwich, Silky, and others), Bulldogs (English & French), Dachshunds, Shar Peis, Newfoundlands, Vizslas, Australian Shepherds, Whippets, Chow mixes, Great Pyrenees, Chihuahuas, Rottweilers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and more. My previous dogsitting clients have typically been medium and large sized dogs, but I love ALL dogs and can't wait to meet yours! My two dogs are fairly small, so I have experience with all sizes and many different temperaments. I have a very flexible schedule and can spend the whole day and night with your dog if desired and/or necessary. I have worked with special needs dogs, including dogs with separation anxiety, and medical conditions. I have experience with all ages of dogs, from puppies to seniors. I also have extensive knowledge of canine psychology and behavior, including pack mentality and nonverbal communication. Please note, when I am housesitting for your dogs, my dogs stay at home with my roommate and don't interact with your dogs unless we've arranged otherwise.
