Hello, my name is Lydia Moore - Metzger! I am a former veterinary technician from Pensacola, FL but now live in Crestview, FL I have cared for many dogs (and other species such as cats, farm animals, and small animals) of all breeds and sizes my entire life. I worked with dogs at a boarding facility and assisted in dog training before my job as a vet tech. I have 7 years of pet sitting experience. I am very active with the dogs I take care of and can administer medications (including injections), perform light grooming (Nail trims, anal sac expressions, baths, and brushing) as per request, and I also care for cats and other small animals. I am currently offering boarding and daycare at my own house so he or she would have to be pet friendly! I have a large, sweet female dog who loves to make friends. Lydia was awesome!! We were referred to her through a family member. Coco is a very anxious dog and we wanted to do a meet and greet before leaving her. We met Lydia and her fur family and everyone got along great. Coco stayed with Lydia for a week, she did wonderful and Lydia made sure to send us updates most days. I’m grateful for that because once I knew Coco was happy I was able to enjoy my vacation even more. We will definitely be using here again in the future.
Lydia was amazing! We have a new rescue, Zoe, who’s very anxious when meeting new people. I was nervous about leaving her, but she loved Lydia and her dogs. We did a trial day before leaving Zoe for a week. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind Lydia gave us and Zoe had the best time! Thanks Lydia!!
Lydia did a great job with my pups! She is very comfortable and confident around the animals and I felt comfortable leaving my pups with her in her home.
I have two chihuahuas that are my babies. They tend to get depressed when I leave them. Lydia has been their pet sitter for a while now and they adore her! She takes care of them and gives them the love and attention they demand. I would recommend her as a pet sitter to anyone! She’s the best and will always be my go to pet sitter!

I do not have any breed preferences. However, I would like to know if you have a pet that is aggressive in any way towards new people, food aggressive, aggressive with other animals, or overly anxious over new situations/people.
A typical day
I promise your pets will not be bored while they are in my care! I regularly go to dog parks and dog beaches with my dogs so, with owner permission, I can take your pups to the same fun places I take mine!

I work from home so your pet(s) will be as spoiled as my own while in my care. I let pups outside in my fenced in backyard as much as they need and always home to supersize.
