Hello! My name is Lydia and I’m a recent graduate of Ohio University where I studied marine and environmental biology. I have always loved caring for animals which is my main reason for choosing this career path. I have 9 years of pet sitting experience as well as 13 years of experience caring for my own pets. I am now caring for a wide variety animals as an environmental educator on Jekyll Island! I have experience with special needs dogs and cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds. From chihuahuas to mastiffs, I am comfortable with all! I have volunteered at the Athens County Dog Shelter for 2 years where I received training on dog behaviors,walking techniques, and how to properly care for the dogs. I love to be active and to be outdoors. I enjoy walking and jogging and would love to take your dog along for the ride! I’m currently working full time( Monday to Friday)with the majority of my time for pet care on the weekends and weekday afternoons, but my schedule often varies so my availability would vary week to week. I am happy to allow pets on the bed but at a clients home I am also able to accommodate any nightly routine for your pets including crating.
