Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs - over the years I have had a golden retriever and two boxers. I house trained my youngest boxer when we adopted him (he was three months old) - so I have no problem being around pups! My boxer is extremely difficult in terms of the amount of energy he has and the playtime he requires, so I am used to spending lots of time walking and playing with dogs and would be happy to help with that as needed! I take all of my work seriously and I know that pets are members of the family. I pay extremely close attention to detail and will follow all given instructions. I’ve been on Rover since 2017 and done a great amount of dog sitting and dog walking in the Washington, DC area.

Lydia had walked my Seamus in early September for about 1 week. Immediately, Seamus had taken very well to Lydia. She had been very responsible and followed instructions precisely. I highly recommend Lydia. Also, I would hire her again if the circumstances prevailed.
Lydia was great with Posen. She let me know each time when she arrived and if there were any updates on how he was doing. My pup can be a finicky eater when I'm gone, but she handled it very well and checked with me to make sure she was giving him the best care. She was very sweet and spent some extra cuddle time with him when he needed it. I'll be booking her again and would definitely recommend her!
Lydia has taken excellent care of our energetic boxer over the past two years. She was instrumental in helping us housebreak him during our work day. She has a very kind demeanor and our dog just loves seeing her! She is very trustworthy. I am always confident that our dog is well taken cre of as well as our home secured when she leaves.
