* Meet and greets are required for first time clients.* We are a mother and daughter duo who love dogs and are very excited to take care of your pup. While Luzia is a visual artist and spend her days between her studio in Astoria and our house, Laura is a freelancer web designer currently working from home full-time. We always had dogs at home until we moved to NY. They used to live inside the house, sleep with us in bed and share our routines, and we invite your dog to do the same. Our apartment is suitable to accommodate up to two small dogs, and we are comfortable caring for and loving both puppies and senior dogs. In a family of artists, your pet will be an inspiration for our artistic creations, and maybe even become famous! We will try our best to send daily updates and pictures of your pup and guarantee a house full of treats and love. We can't wait to welcome your dog !

We are so grateful to Laura & Luzia for their attentive care to our dog Millie while we were away. I was anxious about leaving Millie with a sitter for 2 weeks, as this was a first for us, but Laura immediately put me at ease with her thoughtful questions about Millie's routines. The meet-and-greet before we left was also a great way to make everyone comfortable. While we were away, Laura sent multiple photos/videos every day, and it was fun to see Millie playing with other dogs and making new friends. It was great to know that our dog was getting wonderful care and attention while we were gone, so that we could enjoy our trip with no worries. I think Millie was even a little sad to leave when we came to pick her up! We will definitely come to Laura & Luzia again for future sitting needs and recommend them highly.
Laura took great care of Bella while I was away. She sent me pictures and videos daily, and even gave Bella a bath. Bella was very happy 🐶🐶🐶. Thank you for taking such a great care of Bella. 🐶🐶

Even though we have a fairly big apartment we only care for one dog at time, so your furry companion will be getting all the attention he/she needs. We may however, overbook if both pet owners are in agreement and both dogs are friendly.We like to have the dogs around the house with us but are able to crate them if necessary. Our apartment is on the 2nd floor, up a flight of stairs and no elevator, so if your dog has difficulties climbing stairs, we might not be the best fit. We don’t have a yard but Laura loves to go to the park when the weather is nice. You are welcome to pack anything you think your dog might need to be comfortable but, in case you forget something, this is what we have here at our apartment. Food and water bowls Pee pads ( limited amount, please bring extra if your dog uses them a lot) Toys ( squeaky toys, ropes, tennis balls …) Blankets Leashes (for small/ medium dogs) Poop bags Treats Play pen

A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood, make friends at the park, play with all the squeaky toys and your pup will get all the belly rubs they want.

Luzia tends to work at her studio in the afternoon, but Laura is currently working from home full time and will be more than happy to play with your dog and keep him/her company.
