Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals since I was 16 years old. I have worked at grooming shops, boarding shops, and pet stores gaining a little over two years of experience. I have learned things such as proper bathing techniques, dog walking, feeding, trimming nails, providing emergency care if needed, and understanding that pets are my first priority.

We had such a great experience with Lupita. She took wonderful care of our dog Charlie and our cats Benji and Percy. Everyone was so happy when we returned home. She had great communication and sent lots of pictures as well. We will definitely be reaching out again in the future! Thanks again Lupita!!
Lupita is wonderful! She gives our senior kitty lots of love and always manages to get her to take her pills (a huge challenge!). We’ll definitely book Lupita again.

Understanding how to bond with pets is important to me when I first enter an environment they are used to and trust of. Being able to bond with the pet will assure a feeling of comfort and safeness which will make the pet become more trusting when I am providing their needs. I also want to be aware of any house rules as well as any abnormal behaviors a pet might be showing in case of an emergency.

I would like to know of any abnormal behavior a dog might show. I would like to know if they are taking any medication and the side effects they are having with it.
A typical day
I love playing with high energy dogs, but also appreciate dogs who just like to hang out or do something to stimulate their brain. I love going outside and letting the dogs smell around and choose the path they want the walk to go in, making sure it is safe for them.

I am currently a third year student at the University of New Mexico, making myself available every weekday after 2 pm and free all day on weekends, including Fridays.
