Pet care experience
I have been raised with (2) dogs always from Pomeranians to labs/aussies. I have raised puppies, trained adult dogs, and cared for senior dogs. I am very passionate about animals specifically dogs, cats, and small reptiles. I even had a therapy dog and went through the necessary training for it with my Portuguese Water Dog. We visited Swedish Edmonds Hospital every other weekend throughout junior high school and high school. I am very comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs.

Lulu was wonderful! She took care of my little Frenchie while I was away, made sure she got plenty of play time with other dogs, and sent me photo updates throughout. Would definitely recommend Lulu and use her again in the future.

I always will follow written or verbal guidelines to the exact specifications. I trust the owner to know how to properly take care of their pet. I will always use positive reinforcement and discipline how the owner has described is how they do it. As mentioned in my schedule description I can be as active or as lazy to match the energy of the pet. My initial idea will be getting to know the animal by observing and letting them come to me to see who I am and get to know me completely on their terms. I am happy to let them be and do their thing during my visit or an overnight stay so long as they are happy. My number 1 priority is safety, comfort, and happiness.

I’d like to know: temperament any quirks I should be aware of Any physical issues I should be aware of (weird lumps that have already been checked, perhaps a limp that is normal for the pet, etc)
A typical day
Lots of playing indoors and dog park if the owner is okay with that. Mental stimulation with treats is always an option with treats that have been approved by the owner of course!

Availability
I currently work M-F from 7-2pm. From there I am at home all day and all weekends. I can provide for constant and consistent attention from walks, play time, potty breaks, and anything else your family member needs during their visit/stay with me. I can be active and go on hikes or trails with them or I can be snuggly and relaxed. I can adapt to the needs and specifics you want.
