Located 25 minutes north of Downtown Nashville, I have a unique small oasis hidden in the Tennessee countryside for dogs to have their own vacation in Goodlettsville while you are away on yours. My rates may be a little higher than others, but that's because I offer a different kind of pet care! I do require a Meet & Greet before any booking request is confirmed. I take great pride in offering loving professional care to all the furry loved ones creatures in the Greater Nashville area. I am a trustworthy soul who wants to care for your fur babies when you cannot. As a small and independent pet sitter, wellness and safety have always been paramount to me, but now more than ever. I offer a Doggie Über for Campers at my house with curbside pick-up! Please note that the $25 fee listed in my profile is the base rate for roundtrip travel. All travel fees are based on the roundtrip distance to and from my home. The Pup Mobile makes rounds in Belle Meade, East Nashville, Inglewood, and parts of Madison. I love all creatures with fur or feathers! I genuinely enjoy getting to know them. I feel like I "get animals". Actually, we seem to get each other. I tend to connect with them quite easily. I just love that immediate level of being comfortable and cool with each other, yes even with the animals who are notorious for being anxious or standoffish. I have been caring for dogs and cats for over 25 years, but it wasn’t until three years ago that I decided to trade my passion for cooking as a professional chef to become a full-time pet care professional. I created my reality to focus exclusively on fur babies! My mission is clear: I am going to impart the highest quality pet care with customizable options, create a trusting relationship with my clients and their animals, provide attentive customer service, and be the highlight in everyone's day. PARENTS!!! Wellness and safety are paramount to me, so BEFORE our Meet & Greet I request vaccinations records along with photos of whatever preventive medications you use for year round flea & tick and for heartworm. There are outbreaks of Canine Influenza and Bordetella/Kennel Cough in the Nashville Metro, but I am proud to report there have been ZERO infections here. Campers must be up to date on everything including both doses of the Canine Influenza vaccine. If your fur baby's Bordetella is expiring within 45 days, I do request an early renewal. These requests are to keep your camper safe, I do not like the idea of over-vaccinating. Thank you for understanding how important it is that I care for fur babies who are up to date with everything. In addition, I strongly request that all pets wear a collar with your current phone number on it. Meet & Greets are typically offered on the weekends between 9am & 1pm, but I make exceptions whenever possible. If you have an immediate need for care, I may not be able to accommodate your camper. Sorry to disappoint! DOGGIE DAY & SLEEPOVER CAMPERS: My husband is an approved Rover sitter and unofficial dog whisperer, you can review his profile here https://www.rover.com/sit/mikem29048 . We have four acres fenced in, but the guest dogs are always on a long lead and never left outside without being closely supervised. We have a built-in and mellow dog party because your pup(s) will be with our two sweet dogs, Baxter & lil’ blind Hopper, our foster fail. I am home with campers the entire time they are here! The pups get my undivided attention which makes my set-up extra great for the fur babies with a little bit of separation anxiety or high energy pups who need extra exercise. I provide high quality care while being mindful of the mix of dogs we host. I normally will take no more than six dogs at one time. We play games, romp in the yard, go on multiple leashed walks, snuggle, cuddle, talk about our families, the list of activities goes on and on! All guests receive daily full body massages, organic chamomile facials if needed, and filtered water is served from multiple bowls that are washed and disinfected daily. For campers who stay with me, I do need them to be relatively well behaved and moderately good listeners. I provide a ton of activities for everyone to exercise and get their energy out along with nap times! I look forward to talking in depth about your fur baby's needs. IMPORTANT NOTES FOR DOGGIE DAY & SLEEPOVER CAMPERS: ~ I look forward to all sweet pups having a Meet & Greet. ~ Your dog will never be outside without me, but I do like to know how they behave outside. ~ No kennels nor crates unless provided by you for your crate trained pup who loves it. ~ 7:00am to 7:30pm are my "Hours of Operation" (for lack of a better term). All drop-offs at camp must be by 11am to allow your camper to have fun all day and get comfortable at camp; and the latest pick up at camp is 7:30pm. Thank you for understanding. Some details about our home: ~ Large House on four fenced acres ~ Non-Smoking Household ~ No children in our home ~ No cats in our home ~ No kennels nor crates unless provided by you for your crate trained pup who loves it ~ Our all natural Tick Management Team is compromised of Guinea fowl who live in their tractor coop. They free-range the property when the dogs are not in the three fenced acres to manage the tick and insect population.
