Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner for my whole life. I am a sophomore that’s back from college looking for extra income to pay off college and since I love dogs I thought this was the perfect job for me. I am also cat friendly. I have pet sat for dozens of owners and am very experienced when it comes to making any pet happy and feel loved. I am a great dog walker and caretaker. I love to play fetch, tug a war and all sorts of games to help get the dogs get exercise, which also helps me so it’s a win-win. I’m comfortable around any size dog and most dogs take a liking to me since they always smell my dogs on me. Since I am home from school my availability is wide open. Having had three dogs my whole life, I’ve learned a lot of skills pertaining to making the dogs happy and making sure they are not lonely while their owners are away.

Luke comes from a family in which animal members have always outnumbered human members. He has had a part in the raising, training, and caring of countless dogs and cats, some goats, rats, gerbils, and fish. He is a true animal lover who stops to meet every four-legged friend he passes. We have left him to care for animals on several occasions when out of town without regret.

I have no breed prefrences. Any breed is perfectly fine. The things I’d like to know most about the dogs in any situation is if they are outdoor and have a lot of energy or mostly an indoor dog that likes to sleep. This will help me judge walk distances (of course as long as the pavement is not too hot for their paws!) But primarily: Any illness the dog has. Any anxiety issues the pet may have. Any mental or physical problems the pet may have that would have me change up what I do with them on walks or while staying over.
A typical day
Since I live near many trails there are a lot of options for walking your four legged friend as well as a great dog park nearby!
