Pet care experience
Hello! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and I love to train and play with animals. I am a senior undergrad student with a year before physical therapy school. I cannot have a dog right now due to the upcoming rigors of grad school but I love to be around animals in any capacity. I am yearning for a companion and someone to go on my daily runs with and to snuggle with at night. I love to go on hikes, runs, and engage with dogs whenever I can. I am home often and able to watch dogs of various medical and behavioral needs. Puppies all the way to elderly dogs are encouraged to apply to be my friend. I'm PAWsitive your pup and I will get along great!

Luka is a very trust worthy and great at forming relationships with animals (humans included). I have know her for over 10 years but only recently did we get a dog. He is a 3 year old american bulldog mix that we rescued. She has been able to meet all of his special needs; giving him ear drops, 1-2 hours of exercise a day and loving him like he is her own. She has been very reliable and we love that she regularly sends us pictures of them together. I love being her friend and I know Bubba does too.

I love to know what the dog knows, and if he has had any past trauma in his life that may hinder him in any capacity. For example, Bubba a giant bulldog I watch is very afraid of "booming" sounds because of his past abuse making it impossible to walk him during inclement weather. Or if they love belly rubs, tell me that too!!
A typical day
My personal favorite walks involve heading downtown to grab a cup of joe and walk around or sit on the porch of the Bourgeois Pig or head to the river to explore the river trails and run or walk the 5k loop in the woods! With permission of the owners I also love frequenting the clinton dog park where you can meet other doggies and head to the waterfall to play in the river!
