Hi there, my name is Luiza, I’m a dog/cat/turtle owner myself and nothing brings me more joy than taking care of my little family! My mom is a vet so I grew up around animals. This is a part-time job since I work for CPS full-time. I own 2 Pittbulls and a Shiba Inu, both can be challenging breeds. Me and my partner have hired a puppy behaviorist and attended puppy classes at PAWS in the past. I consider myself to be knowledgeable in both guiding and disciplining dogs, when necessary, with positive reinforcement. I don’t believe in punishing animals, hitting them, or anything that involves negative behavior. I will always approach and take care of your fur baby in a safely manner. I am used to babysitting my friends animals and I also have an account on Wag! as well, where I have boarded dogs of different ages and breeds. The longest time I have ever boarded a dog was for 2 weeks. He was 14 years old and on a special diet. I am definitely confident and familiar enough with dog boarding. I have a special space in my house, downstairs, with a crate if necessary, a gate, a full size bed and plenty of room to roam that we use for dog boarding. When boarding a dog I will sleep in the room with them and make sure he/she is separated from the other animals in the house. I have hosted dogs that did not get along with other dogs just fine! Also, I will only host one dog at a time. Or multiple as long as they come from the same family.
