I grew up with dogs, my nanny was a Rottweiler. Therefore I learned early how important it is to take proper care of an animal and how difficult it sometimes can be (time wise). For me knowing to help someone taking care of a dog is fantastic. It's a win win win situation. Dog happy, owner happy I'm happy :). I moved to DC together with my husband three years ago. I have a work permit but I cannot work in my profession as a Pharmacist because of German/US license issues. We live in a nice town house with a fenced yard and enough room to play and fool around. I love to be outside, I hike and bike no matter the weather. Like my grandma always said: There is no bad weather only the wrong clothes to wear (and there is a lot of bad rainy weather in Germany ;-) ).
