Hi there! My name is Luisa. I have been pet sitting for 6 years now, and I love it! I have experience with all kinds of dogs. From puppies, to large sized dogs (and seniors too!) I love watching dogs in my free time, and bonding with them. I love going on walks, hanging out, play with toys, run around, and do all the fun things. I feel comfortable with all breeds, as well as I have experience with dogs that require medicine. I am very communicative, responsible and reliable. Luisa took great care of our dog. She came and stayed at our house with our anxious pup and we were so glad to come back to a happy, well cared for dog. Luisa was great at communicating with us, and sent pictures often letting us know how he was doing. She also left our house super neat and clean! We would happily use Luisa again and highly recommend.

When it comes to care and safety, I always check the area in my client’s home to make sure the dog is safe. For instance, I had a regular client whose backyard was fenced and they had a little puppy door. I would let the dog out and play because I knew he was in a fenced space and safe. However, if we are in a public space, I’d always consult the owner first before letting a dog be off the leash.

I do not have any breed preferences. I am comfortable with all types. However, I don’t feel comfortable with reactive dogs and I get very nervous.
A typical day
A typical day starts with breakfast (following the feeding schedule your dog/cat has of course) - I make sure I let my 4 legged friend(s) out to go potty. I will proceed to provide cuddles and all the scratches. Then, depending on the time, we’ll go on a walk because exercise is important. A lot of playtime is included, but also time to rest. I love going to dog parks, playing fetch, and run around chasing each other.

Availability
I’m currently in grad school pursuing my master’s! I am a full-time student, with a flexible schedule. My schedule changes every 7 weeks as my classes change too. That being said, for my Spring semester I will only have classes 3 times a week, with lots of availability. I can certainly adjust to your schedule. Happy to do drop-in visits, going on walks, and staying at your house with your pet if you’re going to be gone for a few days!
