Pet care experience
I recently moved back to NJ after finishing up my masters degree in ATL where I've been a rover sitter/walker for 2 years and loved it! I also have 10 years of personal pet ownership experience, from Rottweilers to our current Bichon, I have grown up around dogs and am genuinely a pet person. I have experience with a wide variety of pets, including puppies, special needs + senior pets and am happy to board pets or housesit. For boarding: I live with my family and though I am the primary care giver for your pets, my family is always willing to help. We have a 11yr old male bichion (max) who is not neutered. we have boarded rover pets at my home before and we keep them separate at night and while we're out, we've never had any issues, but we ask that your pets be comfortable around other dogs. we have a fenced yard and live in a quiet suburban area where i can go on nice long walks with your pets.

I don't have any breed preferences, would prefer to know how the dog interacts with other animals and people when taking them outside the home. I would also like to know if they good with children and are okay being pet by strangers. A general personality description (alpha vs mellow, skittish, likes dislikes) would be most helpful!
A typical day
I would love to walk around surrounding neighborhoods of the dogs home and local parks to play fetch. I have also taken clients dogs on hikes if they have previous experience doing that. I am not comfortable letting dogs go off leash , unless we are in an enclosed dog park.
