Pet care experience
My approach is wellness based, and my home would be best for dogs who need a quieter pace and the constant companionship of a human. I am experienced with puppies, separation anxiety, and some experience with frustration-based reactivity. I enjoy the benefit of exercise and being outside, and I love to watch when a dog fulfill its physical, mental, and breed needs. I have the energy to keep up with your dog(s), and the patience to let dogs be dogs!

Benson our Boston Terrier had a great time at Luisa’s house! Our kids loved the updates and photos of Benson during his stay. He seemed happy & at ease, enjoying his walks & cuddle time. Luisa was easy to get in touch with & flexible with drop off/pick up. We would highly recommend her!
Luisa was absolutely amazing! I felt at ease on vacation as she would continuously send me updates and photos plus would make sure that Bruno was being kept active which I love! This was very comforting as we have previously had bad experiences with kennels. We are definitely going to be booking Luisa again when needed!!

I only take in one client at a time to ensure everyone’s needs are met, and that care is still individualized. You can expect lots of updates with photo and video for your peace of mind. I will follow your direction to keep your family member as comfortable as possible. I would love to continue to work on training schedules set out by pet parents. There will always be a surplus of love and cuddles here too🤗

A typical day
We will keep up your routine as best as possible! I will take your dog's lead on what they want to do.I LOVE to go on day trips to do a walk or hike in the natural areas around us! When the weather is a bit unpredictable, we can go on field trips to the pet store or other pet friendly buildings if your pal genuinely enjoys it. If your dog is more lowkey or reactive, and is more relaxed in quieter spaces, that is no problem! I'm good at finding low traffic areas.

Availability
I am available to dog sit on my days off, so they will always have a human buddy around. During my visit, we can plan for some type of adventure: be it checking out a nearby park, a long decompression walk, or romping around in the yard. We'll aim to go mid-morning while the sun is out and the crowd is low. Then we can have a quiet afternoon for rest.
