Hello, my name is Lu. I have owned and taken care of friend’s and family dogs for over twenty years. I follow a flow centered on patience and proper communication within my interactions while sitting. I am calm and friendly but care most for the safety and support of the animal. Fantastic Job! Luis B has been our private dog/house sitter for the last 8 years. Our typical agreement was 1-2 weeks at a time at 1-3 times a year while vacationing. We used Luis for a few in between week-end needs as well. We have a Great Dane and a GSP and they love him. He took them for walks, fed, watered and cleaned up after them daily. Also kept the house in order as handed over to him during his stays. What was nice to see that he has a kind heart and was never mean.
I have known Luis for only a short time, but have found him to be a man of integrity, very personable, great on follow thru and just and overall caring person. He would be an awesome candidate to care for your furry friend. I would trust him explicitly with any of my animals.

The information I would like to know ahead of time is centered around the personality of that specific dog and their unique needs with food and safety spaces to ensure the dog’s comfort throughout the interactions we have.
A typical day
I have a few places I usually go in town to walk with dogs. Both East and West Cliff are good spots to enjoy while also making it to a dog park if that particular dog works well with other dogs. When dogs prefer more isolated walks, Harvey West is nice as well as Frederick St to name a couple of the many parks Santa Cruz has to offer.

I am open for all available sitting opportunities at this time. I practice yoga at a studio near pleasure point and can make any time available as classes are flexible throughout the week.
