Pet care experience
Since my first dog at the age of 8years old, I’ve had a strong interest in caring for dogs. The older I got, the more I learned about their behaviour & trained myself on how to train them. I pay attention to how my energy affects a dog, so I practice calmness around them. If the dog is a puller, I do my best to train them to pull less. For my history with dogs, I’ve raised 4 puppies into adulthood (all mixed breeds). So I understand the patience & care they need. I also have experience with older dogs. Overall I love to learn about dogs & how to train them. I’ll be willing to accept a challenge. Currently I have two large breed mixed dogs whom I have raised since they were pups. One is a 3year old 66lbs German Shepherd/Husky mix. The other is a reactive 75lbs 1year old Akita/Rottweiler/Lab/Husky mix.

Bailey loved his walk. He was well looked after and was taken in a long enjoyable walk.
My dog Joey used to pull on walks but with Lucy she helped him to walk nicely by her side. No longer a pulley boy! She also took really good care of him and is considerate of his joint/hip problems. Thank you for all the times you looked after him for me!
Lucybeth is amazing with dogs! Not only is she patient and helps train dogs, but she plays and cares for them!! She remembers the medications and meal times so she is on it.

A typical day
We can walk around the neighbourhood and/or walk the Marsh field depending how far you live from it. There’s also an enclosure near the Marsh that dogs are welcome in. I can play with them & do fun learning activities. If there’s anywhere in particular in your neighbourhood that your dog likes to walk/visit then I’ll take them there. I’ll be sure to keep you updated.

Availability
My husband & I have two dogs that we look after every day, but on the days where my husband works, I’m the one taking care of them all day. So on my husband’s days off is when I would be able to be a dog walker on Rover.
