Elderly pet specialist

Pet care experience

I have had dogs in my life since I was 5 years old, cats since I was 15, and currently am the owner to a senior cat, Leo. I'm known as the "dog whisperer" by my friends, as I can consistently calm down or energize any dogs I encounter, and am the go-to cat sitter for my friends and family. My specialities lie with caring for needier animals - my own cat has a chronic illness that requires daily medication, so I have lots of experience with giving medications and being aware of signs of discomfort or illness. I also spent several years as the owner of an elderly pup with sight and hearing issues, so know how to deal with their sensitive daily needs as well.

Safety, trust & environment

I am unable to have pets stay with me due to my own animal’s illness, but am easily able to handle whatever home circumstances you have. I’ll treat your pet like my own - I stay with pets for extended periods of time so they get used to my presence and have company while you’re away. I’ll fit into whatever routine you usually have for your animal - coming for playtime or cuddle time depending on what you’re looking for.

Information Lucy T. would like to know about your pet

I'm open to any pets, but it's always helpful to know energy level, age, any sensitive places or actions I should avoid, and some of their favorite things to do, to ensure everyone has a great time.

A typical day

If you have any parks or trails near your home, I find those areas provide the best opportunities for smells and exploration, and get your pet outside of its norm. I'm a master at fetch and tug-of-war, and love to introduce new toys and other animals into your pets life (if they want!).

I work full time, but am flexible with my working location and hours. If you need someone to stay with your pet for hours during the day, I am able to do so just as easily as a quick visit. I’m free evenings and weekends completely as well.
